The 2011-2012 Champions League represents the 57th Champions League. The final, set to be played on the 28th May 2010 will take place in Germany. Last year's Champions League winners were Barcelona.

Champions League Fixtures 2010- Playoffs
The draw was made for the Champions League Fixtures for this year's playoffs on August 6th 2010. Previous to this three qualifying rounds have been played over two legs, leaving 20 teams eligible for this years Champions League playoffs. The teams that win will progress to the Champions League group stages, while those that lose will be moved to the Europa League. The Champions League fixtures for the first leg of the playoffs will be played on August 17th and 18th, while the second leg fixtures will take place on the 24th and 25th August.

Champions League Fixtures 2010-2011 Group Stages
The ten winning teams from the Champions League playoffs will join the other 22 teams in the group stage. The 22 qualified teams are Inter Milan, AC Milan, Barcelona, Manchester United, Chelsea, Valencia, Lyon, Marseille, Spartak Moscow, Twente, Real Madrid, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Roma, Benfica, Shakhtar Donetsk, Rangers, Schalke 4, Panathinaikos, CFR Cluj, Bursaspor and Rubin Kazan.
These 32 teams will be divided into 8 groups of 4 when the Champions League draw takes place on August 26th 2010.
